Dear Professor Callaghan
I was intrigued to find your web-link for sports, spirituality and psychology, as colleuages and I at York St John University, England are part of a research centre on this topic; The Centre for the Study of Sport and Spirituality and have written on this topic and teach u-grad nd Masters modules. Please visit the webiste if you wish http: //sportspirituality.yorksj.ac.uk
I welcome further correspondence and potential links.

these questions are excellent ones but the answers serve little beyond introducing the topic of sport and spirituality, and also with a very limited but only experiential view....very subjective.... Prof callahans comments describe...I feel,I think. Yet, there is a massive amount of actual research going on from both the scientific (neurological) and consciousness based camps of inquiry, as well as work which combines and has begun to bring these together, and in line with modern views on spirituality. Furthermore these views together with research has served to unite ideas and give new interpretations to quotes from all religions. None of the information here goes anywhere near this. ???
