Energy Healing: Power and Profit by PayPal

By Shirley Shin, Chantal Allan, Allison Louie, June 19, 2007

People pay for therapy all the time, but would you pay money for a session with someone you never meet, never see and never hear? Michael Mohoric of Laguna Niguel, Calif. operates a Web site that offers distant energy healing for $99 a month. Clients are told to lie in bed or sit in a chair for an hour every Wednesday evening and receive the healing energy Mohoric says he sends throughout the world. Is this real or just a placebo? It depends on who you ask.

Great video. What is stopping someone from not paying the $99 and still picking up thte distant energy?

It could not had been a “placebo effect” as I felt the positive energy and detoxification before the actual session even started. And the positive energy and experience I felt was not described on the website.

I think the producer of this video want people to think it is “placebo effect” even before the interview and direct and edit the video in such way which I don’t think it’s true to journalism.

Another fact that the distant healing is not placebo effect is that my 8-yrs-son was healed from eating disorder without even knowing there was a healing going on.

Of course, it is possible that distant healing from Michael Mohoric may not work on all people and it is possible some people was healed as "Placebo effect" or it is possible distant healing from other healer may not work at all. My own experience is it has made a profound and positive change on my life and on people and things around me (and even people and things from a distant)--the kind of the change that's from deep down, from/for your spirit and mind and body.

My father was a VP and Mother editor at a prominent newspaper agency for 30-40yrs. What is the true spirit of journalism nowadays? How do you judge a good video? To show people the truth or to "make" a story more interesting or make people to believe what the producer believes? People might miss the chance of good healing method watching a misinterpreted video.

I have received three sessions and the affects
are profound. I feel that I am receiving on every
level of my being and the shifts are aligning me
with my truth. It is as though my soul is stretching
my personality into my higher self and there is no
looking back.
Thank you Michael

All resources for healing need to be evaluated and considered - anyone who denies or approves sight unseen, is not contributing. I believe there are energy generators that can heal. My only concerned is the too professional production of this story, which resembles so much an infomercial.

Healing energy can be projected around the world..I have not yet had the opportunity to experience michaels energy healing sessions but I do know healing energy works..believing in it helps..if a person has a cronic illness..or a difficult financial situation..in would be in their best interest to give michaels healing session a try..often times going to a Doctor or seeking medical help can be disappointing if not fatal..There are many professional healers in our society today..I would have doubts if an energy healer came across otherwise..I would expect him/her to know their stuff...

One distant healing session from Michael Mohoric healed the back problems that I had been having for almost eight years. Something no chiropractor had been able to do. I actually felt the energy moving up and down my back the day before the session was scheduled. The pain is gone, and hasn't returned.
